Carlos F Benitez started his career in material science engineering learning the properties of the elements that make up his art. Iron, bronze, aluminum, and copper are molded to express his thoughts on culture, identity, and society.
He grew up in a bicultural household, learning about his Puertorican background while fully embracing life in the Continental United States. Today, he is a full-time student of sculpture at Arizona State University and works at a globally recognized art foundry in Tempe.
